After completing his primary and secondary education in Malatya, he moved to Elazığ for higher education. He concluded his academic training by graduating from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Fırat University.[^1]

Kınık applied the knowledge he gained from his studies in Turkish language and literature to his writing career. His poems and essays have been published in various newspapers and magazines. His literary work has not been limited to his own performances; the poems he wrote and the songs he composed have been recorded by numerous other artists on their albums. Additionally, the artist published a book of poetry titled "Turan Duası" in 2018.[^2]
