Cehrilik Lalesi, Yozgat ilinin kuzeyinde, kent merkezine yaklaşık 8 kilometre mesafede bulunan Cehrilik bölgesine özgü, endemik bir bitki türüdür. Halk arasında "şakayık" adıyla da bilinen bu lale, bölgenin coğrafi koşullarına uygun olarak doğal ortamda yetişir ve sınırlı bir alanda yayılış gösterir.

Cehrilik Lalesi, ilkbahar aylarında çiçek açar ve çiçeklenme süresi 15-20 gün arasında değişir. Arılar için bir polen ve nektar kaynağı olan bu bitki, doğada doğal döngü açısından önemlidir. Lale, süs bitkisi olarak iç ve dış mekân düzenlemelerinde kullanılabilir ve bazı türleri antioksidan özellikler taşır.
