Life and Education

Dursun Ali Erzincanlı was born in Erzurum on May 5, 1969. He completed his primary education at Abdurraman Şerif Beygu Primary School and then studied Qur'an for three years at Gürcükapı Mosque and Erzurum Mufti's Office. After completing his high school education at Erzurum Imam Hatip High School, he enrolled in Istanbul University Faculty of Literature, Department of Archiving in 1992 and moved to Istanbul with his family.

Art Career

During his university education, he worked with director Mesut Uçakan and served in the art group for the cinema films "Kelebekler Sonsuza Uçar" (Butterflies Fly Forever) and "Ölümsüz Karanfiller" (Immortal Carnations). In 1993, he started working as a radio programmer at Moral FM, a position he held for ten years. Later, he had a program on Radio 15 for five years.


His first Naat-ı Şerif, "Faran Dağları'nda Açan Sevgili" (The Beloved Blooming in the Faran Mountains), which he wrote in 2000, formed the basis of his poetry album titled "En Sevgiliye" (To the Most Beloved). This album series eventually evolved into an eight-part series. In 2009, he released his album titled "Adın Geçer" (Your Name is Mentioned).

Acting and Television

Dursun Ali Erzincanlı played leading roles in the films "Veysel Karani" and "Rabia," directed by Nazif Tunç. He also played the role of the imam of Söğüt mosque and Little Osman's teacher in the series "Diriliş Ertuğrul" (Resurrection Ertuğrul).

Personal Life

Dursun Ali Erzincanlı is married and has three children, two boys and a girl. He lives in Istanbul with his family.
