Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu, born in [Ankara](/en/detay/ankara-2/llms.txt) in 1947, is a psychiatrist, [author](/en/detay/yazar-749526/llms.txt) and [television](/en/detay/televizyon-2/llms.txt) producer. She describes herself as the daughter of a “kind” [father](/en/detay/baba-2/llms.txt) and a “sacrificing, authoritarian” mother. She has two brothers, Yüksel and Mustafa.

She completed her primary and secondary education at TED Ankara College and entered Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1966. During her medical studies, she worked as a staff announcer and presenter at TRT Ankara Radio and Television.
