
Hasan Ali Kaldırım began his football career in Germany. At a young age, his passion for football attracted attention, and he started his youth development with FV Rheinbrohl. In 2004, Kaldırım joined the youth academy of TuS Koblenz, where his performances earned him a transfer to the youth setup of 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 2006. His displays at this club enabled him to take the first steps toward a professional football career.
Hasan Ali Kaldırım launched his professional football career with 1. FC Kaiserslautern II. Over two seasons, he made 43 appearances and scored 2 goals. This performance established him as a player worthy of attention from larger clubs.
In 2009, Kaldırım transferred to Mainz 05 II, where he made 19 appearances and scored 1 goal. During this period, head coach Jörn Andersen marked one of the key turning points in his career.
In 2010, Kaldırım moved to Kayserispor, where he experienced his first season in the Süper Lig. Over two seasons with the club, he made 72 appearances. His performances positioned him as one of the most memorable left-backs in Turkish football.

Transferred to Fenerbahçe in 2012, Hasan Ali Kaldırım became one of the club’s indispensable players over eight seasons. During his time at the club, he made 170 appearances and scored 5 goals. He won trophies with the team including the Süper Lig title (2013–14), the Turkish Cup (2012–13), and the Turkish Super Cup (2014).

In 2020, Kaldırım joined İstanbul Başakşehir, where he made 49 appearances over three seasons. He recorded 1 goal and 2 assists during this period. His time at Başakşehir further solidified his experience in the Süper Lig.

In 2023, Hasan Ali Kaldırım transferred to MKE Ankaragücü, making 8 appearances. This brief stint allowed him to assess his Süper Lig experience with a different club.
In 2023, Kaldırım returned to Kayserispor, where he made 45 appearances and scored 2 goals. This return marked a new chapter in his football career. His performances at Kayserispor once again highlighted his experience in the Süper Lig. His contract expired on 1 July 2025, and he is currently without a club.
Hasan Ali Kaldırım also represented Türkiye’s national teams. He played for the Türkiye U-19 team in 2008 and later featured for the U-20, U-21, and A2 teams. Called up to the senior national team in 2012, he scored his first international goal in a UEFA European Championship qualifier in 2019. Over his national team career, he made 35 appearances and scored 1 goal.
