Kocan Kadar Konuş: Diriliş is a romantic-comedy film released in Türkiye on April 1, 2016. Directed by Kıvanç Baruönü, the production is a sequel to Kocan Kadar Konuş (2015) , which was adapted from Şebnem Burcuoğlu's novel series of the same name. Synopsis
The film focuses on the events that unfold after Efsun (Ezgi Mola) and Sinan (Murat Yıldırım) decide to get married. In the previous film, Efsun struggled with family and societal pressure regarding marriage; this time, she confronts Sinan's family, especially the authoritarian grandmother Cavide Hanım. The story, progressing through the unique pressures and social codes of marriage, offers a social analysis of the position of female identity within the institution of marriage. Throughout the film, contradictions between traditional family structures, prescribed roles for women, cultural values, and the desire for individual identity are explored.

Production Process
Kıvanç Baruönü took on the roles of director and screenwriter for the film, with Utku Gürtunca also contributing to the script development process. The film was produced by BKM Film, and its production was overseen by Necati Akpınar and Zümrüt Arol Bekçe. Jean-Paul Seresin served as the director of photography, while Jingle Jungle and Ömer Özgür were responsible for the music. A portion of the filming took place in Taraklı district of Sakarya.
