He completed his primary education at Fevzi Çakmak Primary School and his secondary and high school education at Namık Kemal High School. He graduated from the Public Administration Department of Anadolu University in 2014. He married Aylin Garip Alkan in 2008 and they had a daughter named Asya in 2010. ### Career He began his professional career after graduating from Şükrü Balcı Police Vocational School. - **1995:** He began his police service in Istanbul. - **1999:** He served in Hakkâri. - **2001:** He was assigned to Bolu. - **2003:** He was reassigned to Istanbul. - **Military Service:** He completed his national service in Bilecik and Malatya. ### 15 July Coup Attempt and Martyrdom During the 15 July 2016 coup attempt, he was deployed at the 15 July Martyrs Bridge in Istanbul. Additionally, the “Zekeriyaköy Martyr Münür Alkan Police Center Command” completed in Istanbul’s Zekeriyaköy district has been put into service.
