The Namık Kemal House Museum is a memorial house built in Tekirdağ to honor the memory of Namık Kemal, one of the leading literary figures of the Tanzimat Era and known as the "Poet of the Homeland." Although his family was originally from Istanbul, Namık Kemal was born in Tekirdağ on December 21, 1840. The museum was built near his birthplace, modeled after traditional Tekirdağ houses, with contributions from the Tekirdağ National Education Foundation, the Provincial Special Administration, Tekirdağ Municipality, the Namık Kemal Association, and various institutions. After its restoration was completed in 1993, the museum was officially opened to the public in 1994.

In addition, the house features ethnographic artifacts reflecting the culture of Tekirdağ, including traditional kitchen utensils, bedroom furniture, and the main living room (Başoda).

It is particularly popular among students and is frequently visited for academic research and educational activities, supported by Namık Kemal University and other academic institutions.

The number of visitors increases during the summer months, with students from Tekirdağ, Thrace, Kırklareli, and Namık Kemal University frequently coming to conduct research.
