New Phase in Gaza: Forced Displacement and Again a Silent World

According to reports in the Israeli press, details of the Gaza plan, approved by Netanyahu and supported by U.S. President Donald Trump, have been revealed.

In the first phase of the plan, approximately one million Palestinians living in the northern part of the Gaza Strip will be forcibly displaced southward.^【1】 Following this forced relocation, a comprehensive land assault will be launched on the city of Gaza, resulting in its complete occupation.

The assault is expected to extend to areas previously untouched and believed to potentially house Israeli hostages. This indicates that the occupation will cause massive destruction, both militarily and humanely. The planned wave of attacks, lasting four to five months, will render life even more unbearable for Gazans already struggling with famine.

Using the Mask of Humanitarian Aid to Suppress International Outcry

As one million Palestinians are once again rendered homeless, Israel and the United States will deploy fake humanitarian operations to suppress global backlash. During this process, in which Trump will personally intervene, the number of aid distribution points in Gaza will be increased from four to sixteen, and a $1 billion aid package will be announced. The cost of this aid will be borne by the United States and its allies.^【2】 

The objective is clear: to conceal the tragedy of forcibly displaced populations behind a mask of “humanitarian aid” and silence the conscience of the international public.

Netanyahu: No Annexation, But Total Control

Although Netanyahu claims that Gaza will not be annexed, statements and actions indicate otherwise. The Israeli Prime Minister argues that the goal of the attacks is “the destruction of Hamas” and suggests the region will be placed under temporary administration. Netanyahu claims that if Hamas lays down its arms and releases Israeli hostages, the attacks “could end even tomorrow,” yet he has clearly stated that the real aim is to bring the entire Gaza Strip under full control.

Extremist right-wing ministers within his cabinet have gone further, demanding that Palestinians be sent to other countries under the guise of “voluntary migration” and that former Jewish settlement units be rebuilt.^【3】 

Tension in the Cabinet, Outrage on the Streets

At a National Security Cabinet meeting chaired by Netanyahu, a plan for the full occupation of Gaza was presented. During the meeting, Defense Chief Zamir warned that the plan would endanger the lives of hostages and risk severe military losses, sparking internal debate within the cabinet. At the same moment, relatives of the hostages held a protest outside the building where the meeting was taking place, demanding the cancellation of the occupation plan.^【4】 

Hamas: Occupation Plan Strikes at Negotiations

Hamas responded to Netanyahu’s statements made to Fox News. In its official statement, Hamas emphasized that Netanyahu’s Gaza plan directly undermines the negotiation process and constitutes a continuation of policies of genocide and forced displacement. Furthermore, Hamas stressed that Netanyahu is sacrificing the hostages for his own political interests and that resistance in Gaza will not yield to occupation.^【5】 

Gaza: Millions Under Occupation, Condemned to Starvation

According to United Nations data, 88% of the 360 km² Gaza Strip is under Israeli occupation. Palestinians forcibly displaced by so-called “evacuation orders” have been confined to just 12% of the territory. This situation is viewed as a planned and systematic ethnic cleansing campaign beyond mere military operations.

The Wounded Conscience of Humanity in Gaza

The heaviest emotion I feel in the face of this scene is a profound sense of injustice. In such a tiny territory, the deliberate shrinking of living space for millions of people constitutes not only a geographic but also a humanitarian siege. Behind every statistic lies a family that has lost its home, a child whose future is shrouded in uncertainty, and elderly people clinging to hope. This situation challenges the boundaries of international law and human rights, and the silence of conscience is nothing but a mockery. Above all, it must never be forgotten that everyone will one day answer for these acts before the Mahkeme-i Kübrâ!
