PARS 4x4 Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle (TWAV)

PARS 4x4 is a specialized tactical wheeled armored vehicle developed by FNSS Defense Systems. It is designed for missions such as advanced reconnaissance anti-tank operations and command and control. A versatile platform it responds to diverse operational requirements through high mobility ballistic and mine protection amphibious capability and modular weapon systems. The PARS 4x4 can be air transported by military cargo aircraft including the C-130H A400 C-17 and C-5.

Mobility and Features

The PARS 4x4 can operate in all types of challenging terrain thanks to its low center of gravity fully independent suspension system and low ground pressure. It can conduct operations in deep and fast-flowing water without any prior preparation. Its maneuverability in water is provided by two water jets located at the rear. It has the capability to climb 70 percent gradients and traverse 40 percent side slopes. It can overcome vertical obstacles up to 40 cm in height and cross trenches up to 0.8 m wide.

Equipped with a central tire inflation system and solid disc inner tire technology the vehicle features a run-flat capability and enhances mobility on loose and slippery surfaces through axle locking. It also has self-recovery capacity via a hydraulic winch.

Protection and Life Support Systems

Its ballistic and mine protection levels are developed in accordance with NATO STANAG 4569 standards with detailed specifications classified. Standard equipment includes eight smoke grenade launchers an automatic fire suppression system a CBRN protection system and climate control.

Turret Systems Weaponry and Vehicle Configurations

The PARS 4x4 is a modular tactical wheeled armored vehicle capable of being equipped with various weapon systems and turret configurations to meet different mission and user requirements. Thanks to its open architecture the vehicle provides a flexible platform that supports integration of multiple turret systems and adaptation to diverse mission profiles.

The PARS 4x4 offers the following weapon and turret system options:

• OMTAS UKTK: Remote controlled turret equipped with an anti-tank missile launcher system.
• KORNET UKTK: Turret integrated with the KORNET-E anti-tank missile system.
• SANCAK UKK: Stabilized day/night sighting system with ballistic protection; compatible with a 12.7 mm machine gun a 7.62 mm machine gun and a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher.
• SANCAK-30 mm UKK: Stabilized and ballistically protected remote controlled turret armed with a 30 mm automatic cannon.

Thermal camera daylight camera laser rangefinder and electrically stabilized fire control system are standard in all these turrets.
