Orman, who was fluent in Arabic, Persian and Ottoman Turkish, authored 12 books—four of which were original works, six were editions and two were [translation](/en/detay/tercume/llms.txt)—as well as numerous articles. Orman served as a member of faculties at many universities in Türkiye and abroad, received numerous awards for his scientific research and contributed to many academic institutions. ### **Childhood and Youth** Sabri Orman was born in 1948 in the district of Kâhta in the province of Adıyaman.
