[Sadrettin Özçimi](/en/detay/sadrettin-ozcimi-70399/llms.txt) (1955, Konya) is an artist active in the fields of Turkish music and [traditional arts](/en/detay/tezhip-2/llms.txt). He has engaged in [ney](/en/detay/ney-2/llms.txt) performance, [ebru art](/en/detay/ebru-sanati-b70f9/llms.txt), and rosary making. He served for many years with the Istanbul State Classical Turkish Music Choir and has participated in concerts and educational activities both within Türkiye and abroad.

Sadrettin Özçimi was born in Konya in 1955. His father, Fevzi Özçimi, was a student of Sadettin Kaynak and Münir Dede. Due to his family’s connection to music, he listened to records at home during his childhood and learned to read musical notation from his father. He began playing the ney at the age of sixteen and took his first lessons from Arif Biçer in Konya.

Since 1971, he has performed as a neyzen at the Mevlâna Festivals held in Konya. In 1977, he joined the Istanbul State Classical Turkish Music Choir and served there until his retirement in 2020. Throughout his career, he gave concerts in various countries, including South Korea and the United Kingdom, at the invitation of UNESCO.

He has produced works within the classical ebru style and worked on a project depicting all 36 Ottoman sultans. He has also engaged in rosary making and produced works in this field.
