SonicPure Environmental Technology is a high school-level innovation team established in 2025, focused on addressing the rising threat of microplastic pollution in water systems. By utilizing ultrasonic technology, the team aims to develop eco-friendly and scalable solutions for water purification. Our mission is rooted in environmental conservation and improving water treatment infrastructure using sustainable methods.

Founding and Mission

The team was founded as part of the Environmental Protection Society at PakTurk Maarif School. Motivated by their shared passion for sustainability, the team saw TEKNOFEST 2025 as an opportunity to develop impactful environmental solutions. SonicPure's central purpose is to tackle microplastic contamination—an often overlooked but significant issue—by developing ultrasonic-based purification systems. The goal is to reduce pollution and contribute to long-term ecological health.

Team Members and Roles

• Khursheed Amin

Supervisor. A graduate of COMSATS University with a master’s degree in Physics, he oversees the project and ensures the proper development of the ultrasonic system for microplastic removal.

• Ahmed Rasool

Environmental Impact Specialist. A student of Computer Science (2023–2026) at PakTurk Maarif, responsible for evaluating the ecological footprint of the proposed technology and ensuring environmental compliance.

• Noor Ahmed

Technology Integration Expert. Also studying Computer Science (2023–2026) at PakTurk Maarif, Noor handles the integration of ultrasonic systems into existing water treatment infrastructure, ensuring feasibility and technical soundness.

The team is dedicated to preserving natural ecosystems and protecting public health by offering clean, sustainable, and scientifically grounded solutions.
