UEFA Euro 2024

2024 UEFA European Football Championship (EURO 2024) is the 17th edition of the UEFA European Football Championship, organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The tournament was hosted by Germany and took place between 14 June and 14 July 2024. This was Germany’s first time hosting the event since 1988, with a total of 51 matches played across 10 cities nationwide.

Tournament Format

A total of 24 national teams participated in EURO 2024. The teams competed in six groups of four. The top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, advanced to the round of 16. Group stage matches were played between 14 and 26 June, followed by knockout rounds. The quarter-finals took place on 5–6 July, the semi-finals on 9–10 July, and the final was held on 14 July 2024 at the Berlin Olympiastadion.

Champion: Spain

The final of the tournament was played on 14 July 2024 at the Berlin Olympiastadion, where Spain defeated England 2–1 to become champions. With this victory, Spain secured its fourth European Championship title, following previous wins in 1964, 2008 and 2012.

• He became the youngest player and goalscorer in the history of the European Championship.
