Yozgat Bozok University (YOBÜ) is a public university located in the center of Yozgat Province. Established in 2006, the university continues its higher education activities across its campuses in Yozgat city and its districts. Yozgat Bozok University was established as an independent institution by Law No. 5467 dated 1 March 2006, published in the Official Gazette on 17 March 2006. During the university’s establishment process, the Faculty of Engineering-Architecture and the Faculty of Agriculture became operational in 1992, the Faculty of Science-Letters and the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences in 1994, the Health Vocational School in 1996, and the Akdağmadeni Vocational School under Cumhuriyet University in 1997.
