Çınarsuyu Nature Park

Çınarsuyu Nature Park is located in the Ünye district of Ordu Province in Türkiye’s Black Sea Region. The park offers both overnight and day-use social and recreational facilities.

Establishment and Legal Status

Çınarsuyu Nature Park was officially registered in 2011 under registration number 40735. It falls under the responsibility of the Ünye Forest Management Directorate and the Ünye Forest Management Office. Its operations are managed by Orkent A.Ş.

Area and Physical Characteristics

The nature park is situated on a total area of 68 dunams (approximately 6.8 hectares). In addition, the area known as Çınarsuyu Camping and Picnic Ground spans 11 hectares. The park is located along a coastal zone where marine and forest ecosystems converge, featuring both natural and developed areas.

Çınarsuyu Nature Park is situated along the Samsun-Ordu highway, approximately 7–10 km from the Ünye district center. It is 71 km from Samsun Çarşamba Airport and 77 km from Ordu-Giresun Airport. Its proximity to the district center and direct highway access make it easily accessible.

Accommodation and Social Facilities

The park includes 50 small wooden bungalows, 8 villa-style accommodation units, and a restaurant. There are also classrooms designated for educational and meeting purposes. Together, these facilities provide a total bed capacity of 200. In addition, there is a tent camping area and a caravan parking area. Visitors camping in the park can use the beach area free of charge.

Recreational and Day-Use Areas

The park features social amenities such as children’s play areas, fountains, wooden pergolas, picnic tables, a snack bar, and an oven. Designated day-use areas include picnic zones and beach sections. The beach area provides facilities such as showers, toilets, sun loungers, umbrellas, and changing cabins.

Natural Structure and Ecosystem

Çınarsuyu Nature Park exhibits characteristics of a coastal forest where marine-sandy ecosystems blend with various tree species. This area offers a unique combination of sea and forest air, enriching both biodiversity and landscape value.

In addition to recreational activities, the nature park provides multi-purpose opportunities for education, camping, and nature tourism. It is regarded as a space where both local residents and visitors can engage with nature and spend time in natural surroundings.
