Red Fox (Child)
The red fox is a long-tailed and agile animal. Its body length ranges from approximately 90–105 cm, and its weight varies between 3–14 kg. Its fur is typically reddish in color, but black and gray tones can also be present. In winter, its coat becomes thicker and softer.

Red foxes raise their young in dens underground. The pups open their eyes after two weeks. Foxes can run quickly, leap to high places, and swim very well!
Red foxes are carnivorous but also eat fruits and vegetables. When food is scarce, they bury their meals in the ground to store them.

Red foxes are considered generally “not at risk” due to their widespread distribution across the world. This means their populations are currently secure. However, in some regions, their numbers may decline due to hunting, loss of habitat, and disease.
