What Is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is a technology that enables electronic devices to communicate wirelessly with each other. For example, you use Bluetooth when connecting your phone to wireless headphones or your computer to a wireless mouse. This technology operates using the 2.4 GHz radio frequency and typically functions effectively up to a distance of 10 meters.

The Bluetooth technology was developed in 1994 by engineer Jaap Haartsen at the Swedish telecommunications company Ericsson. The name of the technology is inspired by Harald “Bluetooth” Gormsson, a 10th century Danish king who united different tribes in Scandinavia.

Bluetooth uses radio frequencies to establish short-range wireless communication between devices. It transmits signals via radio waves to create connections between devices. When two devices connect to each other using Bluetooth technology, a pairing process occurs between them.
