

Ahmed Kutucu was born on March 1, 2000, in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. He began his football career in 2003 at the Sportfreunde Haverkamp academy. In 2006, he joined Rot-Weiss Essen’s youth team and later moved to Schalke 04's academy in 2011.
In 2018, Kutucu was promoted to Schalke 04’s first team, marking the beginning of his professional career. He made his professional debut on December 11, 2018, in a UEFA Champions League match against Lokomotiv Moscow. His first Bundesliga goal came on December 22, 2018, against VfB Stuttgart. During his time at Schalke 04, he played 45 Bundesliga matches and scored 5 goals.
On January 24, 2025, Kutucu signed a 3.5-year contract with Galatasaray. He made his debut for the club on January 25, 2025, in a Süper Lig match against Konyaspor, coming on as a substitute for Dries Mertens in the 71st minute of the 1-0 victory.
Ahmed Kutucu was part of the Türkiye U17 national team that competed in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India. In 2019, he received his first call-up to the Türkiye senior national team and made his debut on November 17, 2019, in a UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying match against Andorra.
