
Anatolian Eagles is a 2011 Turkish action-drama film directed by Ömer Vargı. Made in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Air Force, the film focuses on the training process and personal stories of young fighter pilots. The film follows five young pilots—Aybars, Onur, Tunç, Fatih, and Mustafa—who graduate from the Turkish Air Force Academy in Eskişehir and are assigned to the 3rd Main Jet Base Command in Konya. Their training days are over; it's now time for active duty. Facing challenges both during flight training and in their personal lives, each of these individuals from different backgrounds shares the same dream: to become part of the "Anatolian Eagles." Throughout the narrative, themes of friendship, rivalry, love, and patriotism are emphasized.
The film was directed by Ömer Vargı and produced by Fida Film in collaboration with the Turkish Air Force. The screenplay was written by Hakan Evrensel. Cinematography was handled by Soykut Turan, and the music was composed by Ozan Doğulu. Anatolian Eagles premiered in Turkey on October 28, 2011. Real military aircraft and maneuvers were used, thanks to the support of the Turkish Air Force.
