From Screenplay to Festivals (Book)

Senaryodan Festivallere (From Screenplay to Festivals, subtitled Lessons in Cinema and Television from Experts) is a collective work compiled under the editorship of M. Sami Okumuş that contains the experiences of experts in the fields of cinema and television. It was published in December 2024 by Dergâh Publications as part of its Communication series and consists of 328 pages.

The book contains modular lessons focusing on different disciplines of the industry, from screenplay writing to production processes; shooting, editing, broadcasting, festivals, marketing, and distribution stages. Each chapter includes interviews conducted with an academic approach, detailing these processes through the professional experiences of the experts.

• Production Processes: The management and production stages of arthouse films are detailed.
• Series and Documentary Production: The roles of production, cinematography, casting, and art direction in the production of television series are covered.
