One Punch Man Official Trailer (vizmedia)
One Punch Man’s universe consists of a massive landmass known as "Super Continent." This world is divided into cities named alphabetically from A to Z. At the center of the narrative is the Hero Association, established by billionaire Agoni to protect civilians from increasing monster attacks.
In this universe, the term "monster" (kaijin) refers to beings that have evolved naturally, been created through scientific experiments, or undergone mutation due to intense obsessions, resulting in the loss of human traits. Monsters and threat entities are classified by the Hero Association into five categories based on their potential for destruction:
Heroes are ranked into four distinct classes based on their abilities and physical strength: C-Class, B-Class, A-Class, and S-Class.

Saitama (IMDb)
The series’ narrative centers on Saitama, who after an intense training regimen, gains the physical power to defeat any opponent with a single punch. This absolute power eliminates the thrill and risk from his battles, resulting in profound emotional emptiness and existential distress.
The story follows Saitama’s search for a worthy opponent and his encounter with the cyborg Genos. Guided by Genos, the pair join the Hero Association to gain official recognition and pursue a professional career. The narrative explores Saitama’s efforts to rise within the association’s hierarchy, his interactions with other heroes, and the fact that much of society remains unaware of his true power. While focusing on individual character development, the plot also depicts battles against organizations and invading entities threatening the world.
The series’ narrative is shaped around specific figures within a hierarchical hero system. The characters’ traits and their Japanese voice actors are as follows:
