Paddington in Peru (original English title: Paddington in Peru) is an animated family adventure film based on the beloved children’s book character Paddington Bear. The film centers on Paddington’s journey to Peru, his place of origin, and the events that unfold there. As the third installment in the series, it marks Paddington’s first major adventure outside of England.

Plot

The film begins with Paddington traveling to Peru to visit his Aunt Lucy. While Paddington and the Brown family plan to visit the retirement home where Lucy lives, they encounter unexpected events. Lucy’s sudden disappearance sends Paddington and his friends on a thrilling adventure through the jungles and mountains of Peru. Throughout the film, Paddington’s actions guided by loyalty, courage, and optimism strengthen his bonds of friendship and family.

Production

StudioCanal produced the film. Principal photography took place in the United Kingdom and Peru. Unlike previous films, this installment features Dougal Wilson as director. The screenplay was written by Mark Burton, Jon Foster, and James Lamont. The film was brought to life through collaboration between producers from the United Kingdom, Peru, and international partners.

Characters and Voice Cast
