Paddington in Peru (original English title: Paddington in Peru) is an animated family adventure film based on the beloved children’s book character Paddington Bear. The film centers on Paddington’s journey to Peru, his place of origin, and the events that unfold there. As the third installment in the series, it marks Paddington’s first major adventure outside of England.

Respect for nature, cultural diversity, and devotion to the past also serve as underlying themes in the film.
Paddington in Peru was released in the United Kingdom on 8 November 2024 and in the United States on 14 February 2025. The film has grossed over $150 million worldwide, delivering a successful performance compared to previous entries in the series. It has received strong interest from family-oriented audiences and generally positive reviews from critics. In Türkiye, it was shown in a limited number of theaters and earned approximately $2 million at the box office.
StudioCanal produced the film. Principal photography took place in the United Kingdom and Peru. Unlike previous films, this installment features Dougal Wilson as director. The screenplay was written by Mark Burton, Jon Foster, and James Lamont. The film was brought to life through collaboration between producers from the United Kingdom, Peru, and international partners.
Paddington Bear – Voice: Ben Whishaw: An optimistic, kind bear who always seeks to help others. He embarks on the journey to Peru to learn about his past and meet Aunt Lucy.
Aunt Lucy – Voice: Imelda Staunton: An elderly bear who was Paddington’s guardian in Peru. Her disappearance sets the plot in motion.
Henry Brown – Actor: Hugh Bonneville: The father of the Brown family who adopted Paddington.
Mary Brown – Actor: Emily Mortimer: The mother of the Brown family, a adventurous and understanding character. (Note: In the first two films, she was portrayed by Sally Hawkins.)
New Character – Olivia Colman: Portrays the head of a religious community in Peru. Details about the character are being kept secret.
Antonio Banderas: Brings to life a mysterious river pirate. His character plays a significant role in the unfolding events.
Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin: Reprise their roles as Judy and Jonathan Brown.
