Pürenli Yaylası

Pürenli Yaylası is a natural plateau located within the boundaries of Gölyaka district in Düzce province, at an elevation of approximately 1,400 meters. Characterized by dense forest cover, expansive meadows and minimal human interference, the plateau forms an integral component of the region’s natural landscape. It is used by both local residents and visitors from outside the area for nature walks and camping activities held at various times of the year.

Geographical Location and Access

The plateau is situated approximately 28 kilometers from the center of Düzce province and 24 kilometers from the center of Gölyaka district. Access is provided via stabilized forest roads that pass in the direction of Güzeldere Waterfall. The route can become challenging depending on seasonal weather conditions, particularly during spring and winter. This necessitates consideration of seasonal variations when planning access to the plateau.
