
Shane Larkin, born on October 2, 1992 in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, is an American-Turkish professional basketball player. He is the son of former baseball player Barry Larkin. He began playing basketball during high school and developed as a point guard. He continued his university education at Miami University and played for the Miami Hurricanes in the NCAA.

He played for the Miami Hurricanes from 2011 to 2013. During this period, he won the ACC Championship with his team and was named ACC Player of the Year in 2013.
He was selected in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, and his rights were soon transferred to the Dallas Mavericks. He played in the NBA for the Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics.
In 2016 he began his European career after transferring to Baskonia. In 2018 he joined Anadolu Efes. With Anadolu Efes he scored 49 points against Bayern Munich in 2019. He won the EuroLeague Championship with Anadolu Efes in 2021 and 2022. He has also won multiple titles in the Turkish Basketball Super League.
After acquiring Turkish citizenship, he began playing for the Türkiye A Millî Erkek Basketbol Takımı. He has represented Türkiye in FIBA tournaments. At the 2025 EuroBasket, he averaged 11.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game during the group stage. In the final match he recorded 13 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and won the Silver Medal with the A National Team.
