Plot

The film is set seven years after the mysterious disappearance of Lara Croft’s father, Lord Richard Croft. The 21-year-old Lara Croft has refused to take over her father’s global trading empire and works as a bicycle courier in London. When a new ancient artifact emerges, Lara begins investigating her father’s disappearance and sets out for a mysterious island off the coast of Japan, the last known location of his journey, where an ancient tomb is believed to be hidden.
