25th International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA)

The 2025 IIFA Awards is a special ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), held on 8–9 March 2025 in Jaipur, India. It was organized to honor the year’s most outstanding films, performers and production teams in the Indian film industry.

Award Ceremony and Organization

The IIFA 2025 Awards took place on 8–9 March 2025 in Jaipur, India. The awards began on 8 March with the IIFA Digital Awards and continued on 9 March with the main ceremony. The event was hosted by Karan Johar and actor Kartik Aaryan. Throughout the event, prominent figures from Bollywood delivered performances, and various tribute and celebration activities were held as part of the award program.

One of the themes of this year’s ceremony was the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the film Sholay. Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit performed a special tribute in honor of the film. Additionally, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan paid homage to her grandfather Raj Kapoor, widely regarded as one of the most iconic figures in cinema history, on the occasion of his 100th anniversary in film.
