In old times, there was a very knowledgeable and talented man named Ahmed. Everyone called him "Ahmed-i Dâî." Ahmed-i Dâî was born in a place called Germiyan and loved books, poetry, and learning from a very young age. His father's name was İbrahim, and his grandfather's name was Mehmed.

Ahmed-i Dâî lived during the reigns of many sultans. For instance, he met powerful rulers such as Yıldırım Bayezid, Emîr Süleyman, and Murad II. He was not only a poet but also a teacher. In fact, he even taught the son of a sultan.

The works of Ahmed-i Dâî were very famous. He wrote poems, told stories, and translated books from different languages into Turkish. Among the books he wrote, there weren’t entertaining tales like fairy tales for children; instead, they focused more on topics such as religion, medicine, dream interpretation, and the movements of stars.
