Ahmet Doğan Yıldırım was born on 1 November 2006 in Sakarya. He began his football career as a goalkeeper in Sakarya, the city where he was born and raised. In 2024, he took his first step into professional football with Trabzonspor. Yıldırım signed his first professional contract with Trabzonspor in 2021 and made his professional debut with the club in 2024.

Early Career

Yıldırım started his youth career at Sakaryaspor (2017–2021) in Sakarya. He obtained his professional license while playing for Sakaryaspor in 2017. He made his first step into professional football in 2024 with Trabzonspor, the club where he began playing professionally in 2021. He made his first appearance in the Youth League on 25 November 2023, in a match between Trabzonspor U19 and Eyüpspor U19. He played a total of 22 matches for Trabzonspor U19, accumulating 1,980 minutes of playing time. With Trabzonspor U19, he won the U19 Süper Lig championship in the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 seasons.
