Ali Emre Fırıncıoğulları (b. 1994, Samandağ, Hatay) is a Turkish military officer. After completing primary, middle and high school, he studied Automotive Engineering at Sivas Cumhuriyet University.

Military Career and Martyrdom

After graduating from university, Ali Emre Fırıncıoğulları passed the examinations conducted by the Ministry of National Defense and attained the rank of tank platoon commander. He participated in various operations in Syria as a tank platoon commander. He was martyred on 20 February 2020 as a result of an airstrike in Idlib, Syria.

Burial and Commemoration

Following his martyrdom, his body was brought to his hometown of Hatay and laid to rest at the Çiğdede Cemetery alongside his loved ones. ^【1】Then-Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar also issued a message of condolence via his social media account. ^【2】

Ali Emre Fırıncıoğulları continues to be commemorated after his martyrdom. Examples include the “Martyr Platoon Commander Ali Emre Fırıncıoğulları Primary School” opened in his hometown of Samandağ, Hatay, and the “Martyr Platoon Commander Ali Emre Fırıncıoğulları Park” established by the Narlıdere Municipality. ^【3】
