Arım Balım Peteğim (Film)

Arım Balım Peteğim is a 1970 Turkish film featuring dramatic elements. The film was directed and produced by Muzaffer Arslan, with the screenplay written by Bülent Oran.

The protagonist, Mehmet, is a man who earns his living as a private detective. His latest assignment is to follow Harun, a wealthy playboy. After discovering that Harun is involved with the wife of a married businessman, Mehmet informs the husband. This revelation leads the jealous husband to plot Harun’s murder.

To prevent the murder, Mehmet’s daughter Zeynep warns Harun. This encounter sparks a romance between Zeynep and Harun. However, a few months after they begin their relationship, Harun abandons Zeynep under the pretense of a long business trip. At this time, Zeynep is pregnant and is forced to raise her child alone.

Years later, the paths of Harun and Zeynep cross again. This reunion brings to the surface unresolved emotions and unfinished reckonings from the past.
