Gameplay Mechanics and Character Progression

The game deepens the role-playing elements introduced in its predecessor, Assassin's Creed Origins. Character progression advances through a skill tree divided into three main branches: Hunter, Warrior, and Assassin. Skill points earned upon leveling up are used to unlock over 30 active or passive abilities across these trees. Players can balance their playstyle by equipping armor and weapons suited to one or more of these three classes. Equipment is categorized by rarity levels: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Players can gather resources from blacksmiths scattered across the map to upgrade weapons and armor and add additional statistical bonuses. The combat system is built around dodging, rolling and parrying, eliminating the use of shields. Additionally, sailing the seas, engaging in naval battles and customizing ships with crew and weaponry are core gameplay mechanics.
