
Aytek Şayan, born in 1985 in İzmir, is a theater, film, and television actor. He began his career in theater and later took on various roles in television and film productions. His television career, which started in 2016 with the series Yok Olan, continues with the series Taşacak Bu Deniz.
Aytek Şayan was born in İzmir in 1985. He initially enrolled at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Uludağ University but did not complete his studies there. Due to his interest in theater, he transferred to the Department of Theater at Bilkent University and graduated in 2013.
After graduation, he focused on theater and began performing in various plays starting in 2014. He launched his television career in 2016 with the series Yok Olan. His recognition grew through his portrayals of Bozan Erol in İsimsizler (2017) and Lais in Diriliş: Ertuğrul (2018). He portrayed significant historical characters such as Rüstem in Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu (2020–2021) and Şahbaz in Barbaroslar: Akdeniz'in Kılıcı (2021–2022). He has also appeared in productions such as Çöp Adam, Gaddar, and the Netflix project Kübra. He won the Best Male Actor award at the Direklerarası Tiyatro Ödülleri 2025 for his performance in the project Ayna. He continues his career with the role of Şerif in the series Taşacak Bu Deniz, which began broadcasting on TRT on October 10, 2025.
