Bekir Develi was born on 4 June 1975 in Bielefeld, Germany. He grew up in a modest family as the son of a housewife mother and a tailor father. After completing his middle and high school education in Adana, he graduated from Samsun 19 May University, Department of German Language Teaching. His years in Samsun brought him not only a diploma but also a spouse and rich life experiences. He worked in many different jobs outside his field of education: he experienced different aspects of life through various professions like radio announcing, ironing, jewelry making, theater acting, trade, and even selling Eskimo pies.

Before stepping into the world of art and media, he received acting and stage training from the late Assistant. Prof. Dr. Mete Tuncel. This training laid a foundation for his career in both television and on stage. Bekir Develi reached a wide audience by hosting over 600 episodes in his television career, including travel, documentary, and competition programs. Notably, he was a guest in homes during Ramadan months by presenting the “Ramazan Sevinci” (Joy of Ramadan) program on TRT 1 for 5 years. Additionally, he provided viewers with a spectacle through live broadcasts he conducted from 2012 to 2025 in various locations (such as Süleymaniye Mosque, Maiden's Tower, and Çamlıca Mosque).
