Çandır Bridge

Çandır Köprüsü is a historical stone bridge located within the boundaries of Karahallı district in Uşak province, Türkiye, spanning the Banaz Çayı. The structure is also referred to as Clandras Köprüsü on various official and local administrative platforms.^【1】 Today it is known as Çandır Bridge, in association with the nearby settlement bridge. The bridge is among the historical infrastructure elements of the region.

Geographical Location

The Çandır settlement, to which the bridge belongs, is situated near Karahallı district, southwest of the city center of Uşak. The bridge was constructed over a narrow and rocky section of the Banaz Çayı. The area where the structure stands features a natural topography with valley characteristics.
