Canik SFx RIVAL (Canik)

Technical Specifications

The SFx RIVAL model features a polymer frame designed to reduce the overall weight of the firearm. In contrast, the RIVAL-S model uses a steel frame to enhance recoil control. Both models are coated with a Cerakote surface finish, offering users options such as the “Rival Grey” color and a gold-colored trigger.

Both models are equipped with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail system, enabling the integration of various accessories. The trigger mechanism consists of a 90-degree broken aluminum trigger with a diamond-cut surface for reduced weight. The sighting system comprises a fiber optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight. Additionally, the top cover is prepared for the integration of various optical sights.

The barrel length is designed to be 127 millimeters. An optional barrel cap allows for the integration of suppressors and similar accessories. The magazine capacity is rated at 18 rounds.

Design

The firearm’s design is enhanced by adjustable backstrap components tailored to fit various hand sizes. Some safety and control components are manufactured in a dual-sided configuration, allowing the pistol to be comfortably operated by both right-handed and left-handed users. The grip texture and trigger guard are designed to stabilize the shooter’s hold.

The CANiK RIVAL series includes pistol models used in international competitions such as IDPA, IPSC, and USPSA. The SFx RIVAL model was awarded “Firearm of the Year” at The Industry Choice Awards (ICA) held in the United States in 2022.
