Children Shouldn't Hear (Series)

Don’t Let the Children Hear is a Turkish television series in the family and situation comedy genre, broadcast in different periods across Türkiye. The series first premiered on TGRT on 16 January 2002, and subsequently continued across multiple seasons on ATV, Star TV, FOX, and finally Kanal D. The production was handled by MinT Yapım, while the writing and creative direction were led by Birol Güven.

The series revolves around the lives of the married couple Haluk and Meltem, their children, their close circle, and their neighbors. Haluk is a traditional, authoritarian, and serious character, while Meltem is more modern and conciliatory. The show humorously portrays the everyday situations these two spouses encounter due to their contrasting worldviews.
