Code Name: Angel, directed by Ric Roman Waugh, is an American action, thriller, and drama film. It is the third installment in the "Fallen" political action series, which began with Code Name: Olympus in 2013 and continued with Code Name: London in 2016. The screenplay was written by Robert Mark Kamen, Matt Cook, Ric Roman Waugh, Katrin Benedikt, and Creighton Rothenberger, with lead roles again shared by Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman.

The film was produced by Gerard Butler, Alan Siegel, Mark Gill, Avi Lerner, and Matt O’Toole, among others. Production companies involved include Millennium Media, G-BASE, and Campbell Grobman Films. With a budget of approximately 40 million dollars, filming took place in various locations including England (Bicester, Upper Heyford). During production, the title “Angel” was chosen not as a reference to a location, as in previous films, but as a human metaphor for the main character Mike Banning.

Secret Service agent and presidential protector Mike Banning survives a large-scale drone attack targeting U.S. President Allan Trumbull, which results in the deaths of 18 agents.^【1】 However, upon regaining consciousness, he is arrested and accused of orchestrating the attack and committing treason. Targeted by his own agency and the FBI, Banning must evade capture while trying to unravel the conspiracy against him. During this process, he discovers that his former army comrade Wade Jennings, CEO of the paramilitary company Salient Global, is the real threat, and that the events are driven by political ambitions of Vice President Martin Kirby. To clear his name and protect the President, Banning is forced to collaborate with his estranged father, Clay Banning, whom he has not seen in years.

Over its total eight-week theatrical run, the film reached a cumulative audience of 62,722 and a total gross of ₺1,200,847 in Türkiye.
