Damla Köse (born 17 June 2000) is a Turkish national shooter who competes in the 10 metre air rifle and mixed team events. She has built her career within the Erzurum Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate Sports Club and is among the athletes who have won Türkiye's first-ever medals at European and World Championships, in addition to breaking multiple national records in national competitions.
Born on 17 June 2000, Damla Köse began shooting sports around 2018 after enrolling at Erzurum Technical University (ETÜ), following a recommendation from a friend. Trained by Zeynep Nurdan Çağlar and Mustafa Burak Çağlar, Köse achieved national team status within four years through an intensive training program that spanned six days a week and included an average of 300 to 400 trigger pulls per day. Modeling her career after Yusuf Dikeç, who has achieved international success in her discipline, she broke all existing Turkish national records in the air rifle category during the first seven years of her career.
In the Turkish University Shooting Championship, organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation in Trabzon from 10 to 12 April 2023, Köse set a new women's national record with a score of 626.8 points. This result earned her direct qualification to the 2023 Summer World University Games held in Chengdu, China. Later that year at the World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, she finished 15th in the women's 10 metre air rifle and 26th in the mixed team event. In 2024, she represented Türkiye at the World Cup events in Munich, Baku and Granada, the European Championships in Győr, Hungary, and the Olympic Qualification Tournament in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Damla Köse reached a milestone in her international career at the European Air Weapons Championship held in Osijek, Croatia, from 7 to 13 March 2025. Scoring 631.8 points in the women's 10 metre air rifle qualification round, she finished fifth and became the first Turkish female shooter to reach the final of this event at the European Championships. She also broke the competition record in the qualification round with a score of 56 points. In the final, Köse lost to Norwegian opponent Jeanette Hegg Duestad by a score of 15–10, securing the silver medal and finishing as the European runner-up. This result marked Türkiye's first-ever silver medal in the history of the European Air Weapons Championship, and upon her return, Köse was welcomed with a ceremony in Erzurum.

In November of the same year at the World Air and Firearm Championships in Cairo, Egypt, Köse competed in the mixed team 10 metre air rifle event alongside Mert Nalbant. The pair finished third in the qualification round with 634.2 points and defeated the Italian duo of Carlotta Salafia and Danilo Dennis Sollazzo 16–10 in the medal match to win the bronze medal. This achievement marked Türkiye's first-ever medal in the mixed team 10 metre air rifle category at the World Championships. Köse finished eighth in the individual women's competition at the same tournament.
