Escape Room (Original title: Escape Room) is a 2019 American psychological horror film directed by Adam Robitel. It stars Taylor Russell, Logan Miller, Deborah Ann Woll, and Jay Ellis. The film follows six strangers who are invited to participate in a mysterious "escape room" experience with the promise of a large cash prize, only to discover with horror that the rooms are in fact deadly traps.

Plot

Six strangers with vastly different pasts are invited by a mysterious organization to take part in an unusual "escape room" experience, offered with the lure of a $10,000 prize. What initially appears to be an exciting game quickly descends into a bloody and lethal nightmare from the very first room. The participants are horrified to realize that each complex and dangerous chamber has been meticulously designed around their personal fears and traumatic past experiences. To survive, they must push their intelligence, problem-solving skills, and ability to cooperate to the limit. However, as time passes, trust among them erodes, and some are forced to make ruthless decisions to stay alive.
