Eskişehir Fairy Tale Castle is located within the Sazova Science, Culture and Art Park in the city of Eskişehir, in Türkiye’s Central Anatolia Region.

The Fairy Tale Castle was designed by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality and opened to the public in 2014. Its construction adopted an architectural approach aimed at fostering children’s imaginative worlds.

The castle was designed with inspiration drawn from fairy tales and legends of various cultures. The towers of the castle vary in height, with the tallest reaching 33 metres. The exterior façade features figurative elements evoking fairy tale imagery. The castle comprises a total of nine towers, eight different balconies and 18 tower roofs.

The Fairy Tale Castle serves visitors through various thematic areas, guided tours, storytelling sessions for children and theatrical performances. Inside, it includes sections introducing the diverse geographical and cultural regions of Türkiye, as well as interactive activity zones. Creative drama and fairy tale workshops are also organized for children.

The castle attracts significant attention, particularly on weekends and during holiday periods. In 2022, approximately 1.1 million visitors toured the castle. It is widely appreciated by both domestic and international tourists.

The Fairy Tale Castle was established to contribute to children’s cultural and artistic development, support their imagination, and provide them with enjoyable experiences through educational content. It is also one of Eskişehir’s major tourist attractions.
