Hami Mandıralı was born on July 20, 1968 in the Arsin district of Trabzon . He started playing football at the age of 10 in the Trabzonspor youth academy. Mandıralı, who drew attention with his performance in the youth academy, was promoted to the A team in 1985 at the age of 17. The player, who played the center forward position, became one of the team's most important goal-scoring weapons over time.
His Career in Trabzonspor
Mandıralı's football career was largely spent at Trabzonspor. He wore the claret-blue jersey in two separate periods (1985–1998 and 1999–2002). He became one of the club's top scorers in history, playing in a total of 439 league matches and scoring 220 goals. Mandıralı, who also served as captain for many years, stood out with his club loyalty, especially among the fans. He played a key role in local successes such as the Turkish Cup and the Presidential Cup .
Experience Abroad
In 1998, Mandıralı was transferred to Schalke 04, a German Bundesliga team, where he scored 3 goals in 22 matches.
