Iran-US Israel War: Attacks on Energy Infrastructure

In the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict that began on February 28, energy infrastructure became one of the primary targets of mutual attacks. It was reported that Iran’s Hark Island oil terminal, the South Pars natural gas field, and the Asaluyeh facilities were targeted, while in return, Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG facility and the Haifa and Ashdod refineries in Israel were struck. It was also reported that refineries and petrochemical plants in Kuwait, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia across the Gulf were affected by the attacks. During the course of the conflict, it was stated that attacks on energy infrastructure continued with Haifa’s oil facilities being targeted again.
