Jurassic World is a 2015 action, adventure, and science fiction film directed by Colin Trevorrow. Plot

Twenty-two years have passed since John Hammond’s failed Jurassic Park experiment. On Isla Nublar, a fully functional dinosaur theme park called “Jurassic World” has been built exactly as Hammond envisioned. However, ten years after its opening, visitor numbers have steadily declined. To reverse this trend and reignite public interest, the company operating the park decides to create a new hybrid dinosaur species—Indominus rex—by manipulating the genes of existing dinosaurs, making it larger, smarter, and more dangerous.

The creation of this new species soon leads to catastrophic consequences that threaten the island and everyone on it. After the Indominus rex escapes, chaos erupts throughout the park. Dinosaur trainer Owen Grady and park operations manager Claire Dearing must fight to contain the escaped dinosaurs while also rescuing Claire’s visiting nephews, Zach and Gray.
