

Kylian Mbappé was born on 20 December 1998 in Bondy, a suburb of Paris. Coming from a footballing family, Mbappé began his football career at AS Bondy's youth academy. In 2010 he was accepted into France's famous Clairefontaine Academy and moved to Monaco's youth system in 2013.
In 2015 he signed his first professional contract with Monaco. At the age of 16 he made his Ligue 1 debut. During the 2016-17 season he became a regular starter and played a key role in Monaco's Ligue 1 title win. He also delivered standout performances in the UEFA Champions League.
In 2017 he joined PSG on loan and later transferred permanently for 180 million euros. With PSG he won four Ligue 1 titles and scored over 200 goals. They reached the UEFA Champions League final in 2020 but lost to Bayern Munich.
In the summer of 2024 he joined Real Madrid on a free transfer. In his first season he began playing in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
In 2017 he was called up to the France senior national team. He was part of the squad that won the 2018 World Cup and scored four goals. At the 2022 FIFA World Cup he became the tournament's top scorer with eight goals, but France lost to Argentina on penalties in the final.
