Manisa 19 Mayis Stadium

Manisa 19 Mayıs Stadyumu is a place stadium located in the center of Manisa, which opened in 1974. Its foundation was laid in 1968 and it became operational after completion in 1973.

This stadium hosted the home matches of Manisaspor and Akhisar Belediyespor for many years. It underwent renovations in 2023 and reopened in 2024.

The Manisa 19 Mayıs Stadyumu has been modernized through renovation efforts in 2002, 2008 and 2024 to meet UEFA standards. The first international match held at the stadium was the friendly between Türkiye and the Czech Republic on 6 February 2013.

The stadium has a total capacity of 16,900 spectators and was constructed in accordance with UEFA standards. Through expansion and modernization of the stands, it has been adapted to meet the requirements of contemporary football events. Key features of the stadium include:

• 33 private boxes
• LED scoreboard
• Natural grass pitch
• Illumination system for night matches

One of the stadium’s most significant innovations was the covered stand modernization completed in 2009, which increased capacity and enabled more spectators to enjoy matches in greater comfort.

Manisa 19 Mayıs Stadyumu features a standard football pitch measuring 105 by 68 meters. The stadium, which is under the authority of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Youth and Sports, is notable for its natural grass pitch and modern LED scoreboard.

The VIP stands, press areas and special boxes within the stadium were developed specifically for Süper Lig and Türkiye Cup matches.

Due to its location in the center of Manisa city, the stadium is easily accessible by public transport. Outside match days, it is also open to the public for healthy lifestyle activities and sports participation.

Manisa 19 Mayıs Stadyumu is not only used for football matches but is also open for other sporting events, concerts and organized activities.

Following the completion of its most recent renovation in 2024, the stadium has been designated primarily for Manisa FK and aims to host larger sports events in the future.
