Helicopter Crash in Qatar (2026) is an accident that occurred on 21 March 2026 in Qatar’s territorial waters, resulting in the crash of a military helicopter belonging to the Qatar Armed Forces and the loss of a total of seven personnel. The incident took place during training activities conducted under the auspices of the Qatar-Turkey Joint Combined Forces Command.

The notification of the martyrdom of Air Defense Major Sinan Taştekin was delivered by officials to his family residing in Isparta. Turkish flags were hung at the family’s residence, and relatives and neighbors paid condolences.

The notifications of martyrdom for ASELSAN technicians Süleyman Cemre Kahraman and İsmail Enes Can were delivered to their families in Ankara (Keçiören and Çankaya). Temporary condolence tents were set up in the areas where the families reside, and Turkish flags were hung on surrounding buildings.
