Origin

The word "dikiz" was adopted into our language from the Romani language (Roma), where "dikés" means "look!" Its root is the verb "dikáva," which in the same language means "to look."

Areas of Use

Daily Life / Slang: Used to describe situations in which someone secretly observes another person's private life or movements.

Security / Surveillance: Preferred in contexts involving watching or monitoring surroundings during the commission of a crime or in a covert operation.

Maritime / Traffic: In some contexts it refers to mirrors used in vehicles to observe the road or traffic behind, as well as the act of checking via these mirrors.
