MKE Yavuz Bus

MKE Yavuz Howitzer is a modern, truck-mounted, 155 mm caliber self-propelled howitzer system developed by the Machine and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE). Designed to meet the requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces, the Yavuz Howitzer stands out for its high mobility and rapid fire capability.

The Yavuz Howitzer was developed as an alternative or complement to Turkey’s existing Fırtına Howitzer system. Integrated onto a wheeled armored platform instead of heavy tracked systems, it provides enhanced mobility and rapid fire support, thereby increasing flexibility and operational speed in varied terrain conditions.

MKE is developing the Yavuz Howitzer with export in mind and has offered it to countries such as Brazil to meet their military vehicle requirements. The Yavuz Howitzer offers a competitive advantage through its high mobility and modern technology compared to similar systems.
