New Army Stadium

Army Stadium is located in the Durugöl neighborhood of Ordu city, on Türkiye’s Black Sea coast. stadium attracts attention with its architectural design and large capacity, situated just 100 meters from the Black Sea. The site chosen for the stadium’s construction was the area where the teams’ previous fields were located, and work began in July 2017. During the first 15 months of construction, the tribune structures, roofs and facades were completed, with an initial plan to open the stadium within 2019. However, due to various delays, the project was extended and the first official match was played on 23 October 2021.

Capacity and Features

Ordu Stadium consists of single-tiered and compact stands with a capacity of 20,000 spectators. The seating arrangement features a white and purple mosaic pattern reflecting the colors of the city’s local teams. The stadium includes an 84-seat dedicated area for spectators with disabilities, 25 comfortable private boxes for enhanced viewing, a 100-seat conference hall and a 200-seat media tribune.

Structural Features

The arena is designed with an elliptical layout, and a white roof extends beyond the stadium’s outer contours. The metallic grid-patterned facade provides a modern aesthetic, while the windows integrated into the facade increase natural lighting within the interior spaces. For players, there are four spacious changing rooms and warm-up areas.

The stadium complex offers not only sports activities but also educational services. A comprehensive educational facility has been established for young athletes, including a sports high school with 12 classrooms and a 40-bed dormitory. Additionally, the stadium complex houses training rooms for various sports disciplines, enabling it to be actively used seven days a week.

Ordu Stadium has been designed to provide high-quality experiences for athletes and spectators. The arena features a 554-vehicle parking lot and has acquired a modern appearance through surrounding urban development projects.

Located on a 97,000-square-meter site, the stadium has been planned to host not only football matches but also various other sporting events, concerts and cultural activities.

Visit and Access

Ordu Stadium is situated in a location close to the city center, making access very convenient. Visitors can reach the stadium by private vehicles, and public transportation options are also available.
